Jedburgh Golf Club – Head Greenkeeper
An opportunity has arisen at Jedburgh Golf Club for an ambitious greenkeeper to increase their professional development.
We have an excellent opportunity for a hard working greenkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will need to be open minded with a proactive attitude, a good eye for detail, a strong leader, with excellent man-management skills and communication, aligned with a good understanding of the game of golf.
Salary dependent on experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- To carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks and supervise the greenkeeping staff, as directed by the Course Committee, and undertake any task seen fit by the Club’s Committee.
- To be fully competent in monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security in the workplace and in responding to emergencies.
- Spraying qualifications are preferred.
- A full driving licence
- Competent in the use of a wide variety of machinery.
- Be mechanically minded.
- Driven, Flexible and with good communicational & organisational skills.
Schedule:
- Day shift (Hours to be finalised)
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability for preparation of surfaces before weekend competitions.
